Aurloom is built on a simple principle: your memories belong to you. The app is local-first — your audio files live in your own iCloud account, not on our servers. We collect as little as possible and are transparent about everything we do collect.
Aurloom does not collect, transmit, or store your audio recordings. All files are stored locally on your device and synced via your personal iCloud account, which is governed by Apple's privacy policy.
We may collect limited, anonymized analytics to understand how the app is used (e.g. which features are used most). This data is never tied to your identity and never includes your audio content.
If you contact support at support@aurloom.app, we receive your email address and the contents of your message solely to respond to your inquiry.
Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Aurloom never sees or stores your payment information. Subscription management is handled through your Apple ID settings.
Aurloom requests access to your microphone to record audio and your photo library to display photos alongside your recordings. This access is used only within the app and your data is never transmitted to external servers.
Audio transcription may use on-device processing or Apple's speech frameworks. Audio is not sent to Aurloom's servers for transcription.
Aurloom uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymized purchase data as described in their privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Because your data lives in your iCloud account, you control it entirely. Deleting the app or your iCloud data removes your recordings. We do not retain copies.
Aurloom is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.

Open the Play tab and tap any recording. Once it's playing, tap the photo icon in the top-left corner. Aurloom will show every photo from your library taken on the same day. Swipe through them while the audio plays.
In the Phone app, open a voicemail and tap the share icon. Choose "Save to Files" or share directly to Aurloom. You can also share any audio file from Files, Messages, or Mail directly into Aurloom using the share sheet.
Your recordings live in your personal iCloud account — not on our servers. Aurloom uses iCloud Drive to sync your archive across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac automatically.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Aurloom to cancel. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period. Your archive remains readable after cancellation.
Your memories are always yours. Cancelling your subscription puts Aurloom into read-only mode — you can still play back and access everything you've captured. You just won't be able to record or import new audio until you resubscribe.
Open any recording and tap the transcript. Tap a speaker label to edit it. You can assign names, use keyboard shortcuts for bulk assignment, or assign labels across multiple segments at once using the Voice Editor.
No. Your audio never leaves your device or iCloud account. Transcription uses on-device processing. We don't have access to your recordings.

Aurloom is a personal audio archive application available for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It allows you to record, import, catalog, and play back audio recordings alongside your photo library.
You own all audio recordings and content you create or import into Aurloom. We claim no rights to your content. Your files are stored in your personal iCloud account and remain under your control at all times.
Aurloom offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. The free tier provides read-only access to your archive. Subscriptions unlock recording, importing, and full editing features.
You agree to use Aurloom only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable laws regarding recording consent in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to record any conversations or audio you capture.
Aurloom is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the app will be error-free. We are not responsible for any loss of data.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurloom and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
We may update these terms as the app evolves. We will post the updated terms here with a new effective date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
